John Paul Port Bears – Teddy Bear, History, Information
John Paul Port is a teddy bear artist and makes bears under the name Van Poort Designs. The son of Beverly Port, he created his first teddy bear in 1976 named Toby Teddy Bear, made of two pieces of felt sewn together. John Port not only makes teddy bears but is also co-publishes Teddy Today magazine.
